Your route

Moments to look forward to

  • Markets with context, not just photographs
  • A cooking encounter proposed around your interests
  • Regional dishes and the people behind them
Day by day

A journey that unfolds beautifully.

Day 1

A gentle arrival in Tashkent

Arrive, settle into your hotel and leave space to recover from the flight. If your arrival time allows, take an easy neighbourhood walk and enjoy a first Uzbek dinner.

Overnight: Tashkent
Day 2

Tashkent through its markets

Explore Chorsu with a guide who can explain ingredients and everyday food traditions. Discuss a lunch stop for Tashkent-style plov, then balance the day with a metro ride and an easy city walk.

Overnight: Tashkent
Day 3

By rail to the blue domes

Travel to Samarkand on the train confirmed for your dates. After settling in, discover the Registan ensemble and Gur-e-Amir, with a relaxed evening to absorb the city.

Overnight: Samarkand
Day 4

Bread, paper & a shared table

Spend time at Siab Bazaar and learn about Samarkand’s bread traditions. A pre-arranged cooking encounter or host meal can be included alongside Konigil’s craft heritage; exact hosts and dishes are confirmed in the plan.

Overnight: Samarkand
Day 5

Towards the courtyards of Bukhara

Continue to Bukhara with the transport agreed in your itinerary. Settle into your accommodation, then walk around Lyabi-Hauz and the trading domes as the afternoon slows down.

Overnight: Bukhara
Day 6

Bukhara, one flavour at a time

Pair a compact heritage walk with tea, spices and a regional meal selected for your preferences. Meet a craftsperson if arranged, and keep the evening open for a final favourite restaurant.

Overnight: Bukhara
Day 7

One last morning, then home

Enjoy a final breakfast and transfer for your onward journey. We plan the end point around the flights you choose; a return to Tashkent may require additional travel time or a night.
