Day 1

A gentle arrival in Tashkent

Arrive, settle into your hotel and leave space to recover from the flight. If your arrival time allows, take an easy neighbourhood walk and enjoy a first Uzbek dinner.

Bazaars, courtyards & the city below

Explore Chorsu Bazaar and the old city with time for bread, spices and conversation. Continue through selected metro stations and the modern centre, adjusting the walking to your pace.

By rail to the blue domes

Travel to Samarkand on the train confirmed for your dates. After settling in, discover the Registan ensemble and Gur-e-Amir, with a relaxed evening to absorb the city.

Samarkand, beyond the postcard

Visit Shah-i-Zinda and Siab Bazaar before a quieter encounter with local craft in Konigil. The order of visits can be adjusted for light, opening times and your interests.

Keep the morning for a favourite spot, a craft visit or a leisurely breakfast. Return to Tashkent by the confirmed train, leaving a sensible buffer before your onward flight.
